Zhu Jie
Zhu Jie was born in China and began studying art at an early age. During her studies, she sought to integrate visual communication with craftsmanship, pursuing an aesthetic of simplicity and authenticity. Her works aim to draw attention to and provoke reflection on everyday objects that are often overlooked.
The selection and reinterpretation of space, within the dialectic of void and solid, presence and absence, and the paradox of a mustard seed containing Mount Meru, the convergence of positive and negative spaces unfolds silently. Viewing the world from a different perspective can make it appear vastly different.
