My work explores the relationship between the precious and the unprecious, combining silicone, felt, and plastic with gold, precious metals, and gemstones. Through playful, sometimes uncanny characters, I challenge conventional ideas of beauty and value.
Humor and irony allow me to explore unexpected contrasts, revealing deeper meanings beneath the surface. I am interested in how objects carry memory, emotion, and sentiment beyond their material worth.
By transforming ordinary materials into extraordinary creations, I invite viewers to question their assumptions, reconsider what they treasure, and discover beauty in unexpected places, where playfulness meets reflection and the familiar becomes extraordinary.
